Habitat's House That Women Built or the 2008 Women's
Build

As of
May 6, 2008, CBWU has raised $175.00 toward this
awesome project!
"With
man this is impossible, but with God, all things are
possible." (Matthew 12:26)
With our donation of $500.00 or more, CBWU could
have our name on the big project sign for several
months at the project! What better witness could
this be than to be Christian Business Women Uniting
together to bless another woman and her daughter!
Weather permitting, we should be doing our Women's
Build around the third week in August.
Our
recipients of this house are LaShonda Johnson and
her daughter. LaShonda is a cook for Selma's
Catering. LaShonda's daughter, Christina, is 5 years
old, not in school, and stays with LaShonda's family
when LaShonda is at work at Selma's Catering.
The
house will be built at 208 Carlisle Avenue (off of
North Limestone Street and near New Circle Road).
We
must raise the money for this house before we
assemble our construction team.
We
need cash donations (checks made payable to
Habitat for Humanity and marked Women's Build in the
memo blank) and are able to accept some in-kind
donations such as cabinets, carpet, HVAC systems,
etc.
