Hi to all!
Did you know that our loving Father loves to hear from us, wants to talk with us, and expects us to pray to Him with power and passion? In Sheri Shepherd’s awesome book, His Princess: Love Letters from Your King, she writes these encouraging thoughts.
“Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere.”–Ephesians 6:18
My powerful princess, do not waste your walk through life today. Open your spiritual eyes. Prayer is needed everywhere. Anywhere you walk today I can and will order your steps, if you will let Me. Pray while you’re driving, while you’re cooking, and while you’re doing laundry and running errands. Of all the weapons in the world, prayer is your most powerful resource. Don’t let the day begin or end without letting your prayers to Me pave the way in all you do. Wherever you go, remember that part of your royal privilege is raising your voice to heaven. So hold on to the promises that are yours and pray!
Love,
Your King and Intercessor
We can’t wait to see all of you again this Monday, January 22 at noon! Be blessed today!
Your prayer warrior sisters,
Rhonda & Janey
Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a grocery store. She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries.
She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food.
John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store at once.
Visualizing the family needs, she said: “Please, sir! I will bring you the money just as soon as I can.”
John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a charge account at his store.
Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two. The customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family. The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, “Do you have a grocery list?”
Louise replied, “Yes sir.” “O.K” he said, “put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that amount in groceries.”
Louise, hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed.
The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went down and stayed down.
The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, “I can’t believe it.”
The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put
more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more.
The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement.
It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said:
“Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands.”
The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood in stunned silence.
Louise thanked him and left the store. The other customer handed a fifty-dollar bill to the grocer and said;
“It was worth every penny of it . Only God Knows how much a prayer weighs.”
THE POWER OF PRAYER: When you receive this, say a prayer. That’s all you have to do.
Just stop right now, and say a prayer of thanks for your own good fortune.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards.
May you always walk with Angels .
God Bless !
In His Princess: Love Letters from Your King, Sheri Shepherd so beautifully reminds us of just how gifted we are and how grateful we should be to Him.“Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well.”–I Peter 4:10I have given you the gift of eternal life, but My giving does not stop there. Inside of you is a supernatural surprise–a gift that is waiting to be unwrapped…by you.Yes, it’s there. It’s hidden behind dreams waiting to be pursued.
Swallowed up by daily distractions and drowned by disappointment.
Let Me help you clear out the clutter and find your gift. You’ll find it in that place in life that brings you the greatest joy, that place where your soul longs to be, that work your hands love to do.
But this gift that I’ve given to you is not just for you. I have blessed you to be a blessing to others. When you find your gift, I will take it and multiply it beyond what you could ever imagine. So ask Me, and I will help you open your gift so that you can give it away to the world–not to impress–but to bless.
Love,
Your King and the Giver of every good and perfect gift
Thanksgiving Blessings to one and all,
